Wine Harvest 2023

This year, we started harvesting our grapes on August 24th. The rise in local temperatures moved the typical start date of the harvest.

"In the past, the harvest started later," a phrase that we hear regularly in the vineyards of Bordeaux. This year marked a particularly early start to the harvest.

In prior years, the harvest usually started after September 15th for various white wines. In the 1990's, we started harvesting at the beginning of September. Now, we start the harvest in August.
